The republicans are nothing to write home about but the Democrats, led by Obama have ruined this nation from a financial and economic standpoint. Shall we list just a few of their financial sins?
Gas prices have more than doubled and are on their way to tripling since Obama’s inauguration. Gas prices averaged just below $1.80/gallon when Obama bungled his oath. In fact, it’s now heading towards $5/gallon this summer

The prices of beef and sliced bacon have jumped nearly 25% each.
Unemployment was averaging about 5% under Bush for most of his 2 terms, and was about 6.8% when he left office. Although the official number is 8.3% today, if the same number of people were looking for a job now and had not been discouraged by years of unemployment, the real U-3 rate would be nearly 12%. That’s DOUBLE. And the U-6 number is close to 20%, while the shadowstats.com website shows it is more like 25% (that’s what it was at the worst of the Great Depression).
Between January 2009 and November 2011, 1.5 million fewer people were working. In the January jobs report issued at the beginning of February 2012, another 1.2 million dropped out in a single month! The administration is acting like happy days of full employment are here again, wherein the truth is that chronic unemployment, including those being out of work for more than a year is the reality. In fact, there are many that have used up their 99 weeks of unemployment benefits. The average time out of work during the Great Depression was only 6 months!
40% of the jobs in existence (for the liberals out there, that’s almost half) are considered “low paying”. During the Reagan years, that was only 10%. Payroll is way down. People are taking whatever they can in order to survive.
Electric bills nationwide are up. The average home now pays $300 more per year for electricity than before.
57% of American children are growing up in poverty. That’s a massive jump during Obama’s reign of economic terror. Over 4 million more homes slipped under the poverty level since he took office.
14 million more Americans are dependent on food stamps now than when Obama seized power. That puts the overall total (46 million) at about 1 in every 7 Americans. This is the modern version of the Great Depression’s soup kitchen lines.
Nearly 20% of all males between 25 and 34 now have to live with their parents due to the harsh realities of Obamanomics.
Senior citizens in the low to middle income range with over $10,000 in credit card debt has jumped 26% since Obama was inaugurated.
Obama’s budget calls for $3.8 trillion in spending, even though revenue to the govt is about $2.1 trillion. That’s $1.7 trillion deficit. That’s $141 billion per month deficit. That was the average deficity per year during the Bush administration.
the total govt debt was slightly over $10 Trillion the day he was inaugurated. It took 174 years since Andrew Jackson paid off the debt to amass that amount. In 3 years, he’s spent 50% of that total. He’s on course to spend $6.2 Trillion by the time he’s ousted from office later this year.
(many of the above facts came from an article in the Washington times in January of 2012).
This doesn’t even cover the facts of how he has alienated our allies, revealed the secrets of the number of nukes in our arsenal, pandered to Muslims while attacking Christians, pushing his devastating healthcare changes on us that impact in 2014, and has seized more power than any president previously.
We are in big trouble, and he’s as happy as can be and wants another 4 years to “finish the job”.
